Well, it's taken me a little longer than I thought, but here are some more photos from Genevieve and Alistair's big day back in late February.

Well, I've officially entered crazy-busy-wedding land, a special place where I eat, drink and sleep weddings and wedding photography and spend my time surgically attached to my computer. I'm warning all my friends that they might not see my until late May :) Sorry people!
Anyway, it's close to midnight and Christiaan has hit the hay, but I thought I'd steal a few minutes to update my blog with a couple of pics from my recent weddings. First cab off the rank is Genevieve and Alistair's big day, which was my first for 2010. These guys really started the new year off in style. Their ceremony took place at Stuartholme Chapel in Mount Coot-tha (where Genevieve is an 'old girl'), followed by a reception at the Brisbane Club in the city. Genevieve looked gorgeous in her Darb gown and Alan Pinkus shoes, while Karla and the team from Blissful Beauty did a sensational job with the entire bridal party's hair and make-up. The beautiful flowers were by Glenda Pradella.
We had planned to head to the Mount Coot-tha Forest for our after-shoot, but the rain set in and quickly put an end to that idea . So we improvised and made use of under-cover areas at the school to get our pics.
Just for starters, here are some pics from our pre-wedding shoot of the girls getting ready and looking fabulous in every way! More pics of Genevieve and Alistair's big day will be up on the site over the next couple of days.
And I'm seriously saying a few prayers that this rain stops soon...surely it can't rain for three weddings in a row...can it? Is it time to pull out the gumboots?

At just over two weeks old, little Abbie was perfect to photograph when I turned up with my camera last Saturday. She was happy to be moved around and changed in and out of different outfits and barely made a peep. Weighing in around the 6lb mark when she arrived, Abbie still seemed so tiny when we did the shoot; you forget how tiny they are at this age! And that makes it all the more important to capture images of your little ones at this point in their lives ... they are only this small for such a short period of time.
Abbie was a very much wanted baby and you could just see the joy her arrival had brought to her parents, Rebecca and Nick -- you couldn't wipe the smile off their faces! Congratulations guys - it was worth it :)
